Transfer of information, easier access and faster communication – these are just a few reasons why Networking exist. Networking is specifically the linking of two or more computing devices that are composed of both computer hardware and software to enable data sharing.

The internet is a perfect example of a network. It is actually the world’s largest WAN or wide area network. WANs allow sharing information in a wide area such as around the globe while a LAN or local area network covers a geographic region that is much smaller than a WAN such as a home or an office.

One important tool in networks is a router. Routers such as Cisco Routers are devices that connect two or more wired or wireless networks. Each Cisco Routers are used in different areas such as coffee shops, airports, offices and even homes to allow multiple devices get connected to a source and access the information from it.
